RACCOON, Inc. is established to organize and empower expatriate communities from the Balkans who now live in the New York metropolitan area to overcome intimidation and feelings of powerlessness, to decrease polarization, and to bridge divisions through the use of inter-group conflict resolution methods. The program focuses on finding effective, non-violent means of addressing culturally-based conflicts experienced by expatriates with the aim of producing visible results of their collaborative efforts.
