Create a Calm Environment for Patients Getting Surgery
By volunteering in our same day surgery department, you will be a calming presence to patients and their family members who may be nervous about their procedure. You will be with the patients from start to finish by welcoming them, bringing them to their room, keeping their waiting family members updated, and ensuring the care team and family connect post-procedure.
This role is for you if you:
- Enjoy interacting with new people
- Thrive on bringing comfort to patients and family members
- Want to see the behind the scenes of a hospital
No experience necessary! We will train you on everything you need to know to be successful.
2 shifts available:
- 07:00 to 11:00 CST
- 11:00 to 15:00 CST
