Pet Therapy volunteers can make their own schedule and can volunteer just a few hours a month.
Descrição
We are currently in need of Volunteers with Certified Pet Therapy Dogs to make visits with our Hospice patients on service. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring some love and joy into a patients life.
Our volunteers are extremely committed and compassionate about our program. Interested volunteers must consider the following:
- Must make a 1 year commitment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be reliable and dedicated
- Must be able to drive and must have car insurance
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a Health Screening
- Must complete our in-person or online training
- Must be comfortable being in nursing homes and/or the homes of our patients
Other volunteer opportunities include:

We service patients in the Hampden and Hampshire Counties.
