We’re seeking Social Work Volunteers to help seniors navigate benefits, services, and technology. This role is perfect for individuals with a background in social work, case management, or advocacy who want to make a direct impact in the lives of older adults.

🛠️ Responsibilities

• Assist seniors in understanding and applying for benefits (Medicare, Medicaid, housing, food assistance, etc.).
• Help troubleshoot issues related to technology (e.g., phones, tablets, online forms).
• Advocate for seniors to ensure they receive all services they qualify for.
• Provide emotional support and guidance during challenging transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality and report concerns to CHFSI staff.

🎯 Ideal Candidate

• Background in social work, case management, or human services (students welcome).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Patience and empathy when working with older adults.
• Familiarity with public benefit programs and basic tech tools.
• Bilingual skills are a plus!
