Do you love to sew, knit, or crochet? As a Comfort Blanket Volunteer with CorsoCare, you can create
handmade blankets and bring warmth, comfort, and a personal touch to patients during a challenging
time.
What You’ll Do
Create blankets using quilting, knitting, or crocheting techniques
Deliver completed blankets to patients in your area, bringing a personal gift of comfort
Help brighten patients’ days and provide a tangible reminder that they are cared for

We ask that supplies for making blankets be donated

Ability to quilt, knit, or crochet
Compassion and dedication to creating comfort for patients
Completion of volunteer training program (for patient delivery)
Background check and TB test

Blankets will be delivered to patients within approximately 30 minutes of your selected area.

Once your application is received, a local CorsoCare Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to you by email to schedule an interview. This gives us a chance to learn more about you, answer your questions, and match you with the best volunteer opportunity.
