Do you have some extra time available that you can lend a couple of hours for a caregiver to get groceries, get a hair cut or meet a friend for lunch? Caregivers that are taking care of home hospice patients often need someone to fill in so they can run errands occasionally. Consider being a caring presence or keep the hospice patient safe and provide companionship while the primary caregiver steps away. Caregiver respite time frame does not exceed 2 hours.
