The W!se Institute, a program of Working in Support of Education, is seeking volunteers to lead seminars about sustainability for our Engineered Green Economics (EGE "edge") initiative of the W!se Institute. Must be knowledgeable and passionate about the Environment, Climate Change, Energy, Building Efficiency and Design, Mobility/Transportation, Materials- Using and Re-using, Food Sustainability, and/or Sustainable Businesses and Investing.
W!se has curriculum outlines and lesson plans for volunteers. Teach one or more sessions. Each session is 45-60 minutes. Dates and times will be based on availability. Teach on your own, or team up with other people!
About the W!se Institute: Launched in 1993, the W!se Institute holds hour-long, interactive seminars for students during the school day that focus on career skills and opportunities, college preparation and lifelong learning skills. Seminars are delivered by industry experts and faculty.
