We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Customer Service Volunteer to support Dogs on Deployment’s Hero Pet Boarding Network (HPBN). The HPBN is our online network that allows service members to create pet profiles and connect with volunteers willing to board their pets during their service commitments. This role is essential in ensuring our military members can easily access and utilize our services, particularly as they prepare for deployment and operate on short timelines.

• Review and manage user accounts for the HPBN.
• Assist users with registration and troubleshooting account issues.
• Report and document any bugs or technical issues.
• Provide email assistance and support to users.
• Ensure timely and accurate responses to user inquiries.
• Collaborate with the technical team to resolve user issues efficiently.

• Passion for supporting military service members and their pets.
• Understanding of user management systems and technical experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in email correspondence.
• Commitment to firm, flexible hours to accommodate the needs of our military users.
• Understanding of military terminology is preferred.
