CSA Tent Monitor

The CSA Tent Monitor work shares play a vital role in welcoming our CSA members to pick up their shares. Workshares commit to one pick-up day per week and in return, receive a CSA veggie share when they work. Farm staff prepare workshares at the beginning of their shift with proper training on procedures, produce, and any special instructions for the day. Requirements for workshares include the ability to lift 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions under a tent, and possess a positive attitude towards creating a sense of community for Brookwood CSA members. Here's what workshares do during CSA pick-ups:

• Set up, restock, and breakdown of produce displays
• Guide members through the sign-in and pick-up procedure
• Offer guidance for pick-your-own crops, herbs, and other important information
• Relay questions and feedback to farm staff

Our season runs for 26 weeks (May 26th- November 23rd) and workshares can choose between spring, summer, fall, or all three seasons on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. 

• Spring is four weeks (weeks of May 26th- June 16th) 
• Summer is fourteen weeks (weeks of June 23rd- September 22nd)
• Fall is eight weeks (weeks of September 29th- November 17th)

The shift options for the CSA Tent are:

• Tuesday (1 PM - 7 PM)
• Thursday (1 PM - 7 PM)
• Saturday (8 AM - 1:30 PM)
