Global Outreach Doctors (GoDocs) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit humanitarian organization that unites a dedicated and diverse team of professionals, including volunteer medical experts from a wide range of fields. Our mission is to provide critical medical support during natural and human-made disasters, such as wars, earthquakes, typhoons, refugee situations, and more. We've been actively involved in supporting the frontlines since the beginning of the 2022 war in Ukraine and have conducted missions in various parts of the world.

Volunteer Description:

Position Overview:

As a Volunteer Social Media Assistant with GoDocs, you will play a vital role in managing and enhancing our organization's social media presence, which encompasses creating diverse content, designing graphics, and engaging with our audience across platforms. You will collaborate with other dedicated volunteers and participate in a range of projects, including impactful campaigns and stay updated on social media trends.    

Responsibilities: 

• Create and manage social media content, including blog posts, articles, images, and videos.
• Create social media graphics using Canva.
• Respond to comments and messages on social media platforms.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends.
• Monitor social media analytics to track the performance of different content types.
• Interact with influencers and target audiences on all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter(X))

Requirements: 

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Graphic design background.
• Interest in international relations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in social media management tools.
• Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and flexibility in problem-solving.

Minimum Commitment: 

Volunteers are expected to commit 5-10 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.
