    Organization: The Mirror Effects

    Commitment: Flexible – workshops, speaker visits, curriculum collaboration

    Location: Virtual / In‑person (where possible)

    Overview

    The Mirror Effects is a student‑powered civic education initiative that empowers youth through peer‑led workshops on legal rights, public speaking, and civic participation. We’re seeking Partner Schools interested in bringing real‑world civic learning to students—beyond textbook memorization.

    Who We’re Looking For

    Elementary and middle schools (public, charter, or private) interested in collaborating to provide youth with practical civic engagement skills. Ideal partners include teachers, pastoral staff, student leaders, or clubs eager to host workshops, support a student chapter, or pilot civics curriculum.

    What We Provide

    • Free, youth‑led workshops on topics such as student legal rights, advocacy, public speaking, and civic leadership
    • Virtual or in‑person format options
    • Student guest speakers and club/chapter support
    • Co‑designed mini‑curriculum and school event collaboration (e.g., Constitution Day, Rights Week)
    • No cost to your school – just your time and enthusiasm

    What We Need from You

    • Help promote the program (to students, clubs, advisory groups)
    • Host a session or event
    • Optional: pilot curriculum or start a Mirror Effects chapter
