Partner with us in our Fresh Market food pantry by setting up the pantry, assisting shoppers, and making deliveries.

Wednesday 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Thursday 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Friday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Saturday 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Wednesday and Fridays are set up days for the market. Volunteers would potentially help unload the food trucks, organize food, and set up the market. Assist in staging the market for distribution. This includes stocking shelves, sorting, and purging groceries by both expiration date & condition/health of the item, and cleaning the refrigerator.

Thursdays and Saturdays are open market days. Volunteers would potentially greet guests when they arrive. Assist shoppers with their groceries, bag groceries, and replenish items as needed. Assist guests with their groceries to their cars.

Saturdays also are delivery days. On every 1st and 3rd, Saturday of each month signs up to deliver groceries to our Seniors in the East Garfield Park community.

Our age restrictions have been altered for the Fresh Market. We are allowing volunteers 16 and older to register.

All volunteers are required to wear cloth face coverings or masks when they come to the Fresh Market.
