In Zambia, many of young children in underserved communities are growing up without access to the basic tools they need to thrive: books, safe learning environments, trained educators, and developmental support.
Our program, based in Zambia, is working to close this gap. We believe that where a child is born should not determine their future—and with global support, we can make that belief a reality.
We are seeking passionate, motivated individuals to join our mission in supporting early childhood development and education for vulnerable and marginalized communities. Your efforts will directly impact young children's access to quality learning experiences, educational resources, and safe learning environments.
Fundraising Goals:
Our current fundraising campaign aims to raise $200,000 by December 15, 2025 to achieve the following:
- Provide educational materials and learning kits/materials for 600 preschool-aged children
- Fund construction, renovation, early numeracy and literacy programs and storytelling workshops in Zambia.
- Train and mentor 100 local early childhood educators/caregivers in developmentally appropriate practices.
- Build, renovate and furnish safe, child-friendly learning spaces in rural communities
- Develop community engagement workshops to support parents and caregiver
- Launch a mobile learning unit to reach children in remote areas
Every dollar raised goes directly into programs that nurture a child’s cognitive, emotional, and social development in their critical early years.
How Volunteers Can Contribute:
As a volunteer, you can make a meaningful impact in several ways:
- Fundraise with Purpose:
- Organize community fundraising events such as bake sale, online campaigns etc.
- Share our fundraising link across your social media and network to raise awareness
- Set a personal fundraising goal (e.g., $500 etc. ) and encourage friends and family to donate
- Raise Awareness:
- Advocate for early childhood education on your platforms
- Host small info sessions or awareness events in your local community or campus
- Direct Support (Optional In-Person Opportunities):
- Assist with numeracy, literacy programs, play-based learning activities etc.
- Help prepare and distribute learning kits/materials to families/ECDE centers
- Support outreach efforts to connect more families with our services
