Sanctuary Hospice is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Volunteers-like you! Our Volunteers provide companionship and socialization to patients along with a much needed break for their loved ones when they need it most! With Social Isolation at an all time high, it's the commitment of our volunteers that our patients rely on to brighten their day. Visit one-on-one (if permissible), send cards of encouragement, visit virtually or make check in phone calls with patients and families to provide support. We have patients in Nursing facilities in Chardon, Middlefield, Huntsburg and Newbury...they may even be just around the corner from you-making it easy and convenient to make visits!
Volunteers are crucial to the hospice experience and a vital part of our team of caregivers. Patients and families value the personal touch volunteers bring to an emotional process at the end of life’s journey.
Contact Volunteer Coordinator: Laura Brindza, CVA @ 216.520.4080 OR Laurabrindza@sanctuaryhospiceOH.com for additional details and to discuss next steps to starting your hospice volunteer journey.
