Google Ads Pro-Bono Professional Volunteer (up-to 6‑Month Commitment)

About EcoSwell:

EcoSwell is a fast-growing nonprofit organization based in Lobitos, Peru that is involved in the sustainable development of vulnerable coastal communities. The projects we carry out align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, addressing challenges in renewable energy, reforestation, water & sanitation, archaeology, eco-tourism and public health.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional with at least 5 years’ experience with Google Ads to help improve our digital outreach. Your role will be to plan, launch, and optimize ad campaigns that generate engagement through our website, bringing in more volunteers to our sustainability volunteer internship programs and helping us further expand our impact in Peru. Since Q4-2019 we have been given $10,000/month in Google Ads credit, but despite periods of good success, we have been struggling to maximize these funds. We are currently running 6 active campaigns with ad groups and responsive ads, but there is a need for improvement. This is a great opportunity to join our team and gain valuable experience in digital marketing, nonprofit communications, and international development.

We are seeking candidates who:

• Has at least 5 years’ experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics.
• Has good written English (Spanish is a plus).
• Is organized, detail-oriented, and is passionate about sustainability and wants to make a difference.
• Can commit to 5-10 hours a month for up-to 6 months, working remotely.

What You will Be Doing:

• Work with the EcoSwell team to help optimize Google Ad grant campaigns for EcoSwell.
• Take advantage of the $10,000 monthly allocation as part of marketing strategy.
• Marketing and ad campaign experience.
• Set up and manage text-based Google Ads campaigns targeting potential volunteers worldwide.
• Monitor and report ad performance using Google Analytics and Google Ads tools.
