Volunteer Horse Leaders and Rider Assistants

"Empowering lives through the healing power of horses." That's what we do at SMART with HEART!

Each day we strive to improve the quality of the lives of our SMART with HEART Riders and their families through therapeutic horseback riding, and equine assisted services. Through respectful partnerships with our horses, we create an environment that promotes a life of inclusion, respect, growth and independence.

As a mostly volunteer powered organization, it takes a lot of caring hearts and souls to keep our riders growing, learning and reaching for the stars. Volunteers are needed to assist with lessons by providing support and assistance to the riders, leading horses, sidewalking with riders, grooming and caring for the horses before and after lessons, and helping out with barn chores.

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers to our SMART with HEART Family!
