Become an AARP Taxaide Volunteer!

Many older taxpayers with low to moderate incomes miss out on tax credits and deductions they've earned because they cannot afford a tax preparation service. Additionally, filing federal and state income taxes prevents identity theft.

With the help of volunteer tax preparers, AARP Foundation Tax Aide offers free tax filing help to many locations across Anoka County beginning in February to mid-April. Volunteers are provided with training, ongoing support at in-person locations, and choose their preferred day(s) they are available to assist. Volunteers can also serve by scheduling client appointments at upcoming locations.
