Heartland Hospice is looking for volunteers who are bilingual (English/Spanish) to visit our patients in the Broward County area.
Hospice Volunteers provide emotional support to patients and their caregivers through friendly visits in homes, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. A small commitment on your part can make a BIG difference to a hospice patient!
Schedule is flexible and on-going. Orientation and training will be provided. Criminal background screen, Drug Screening, and two-step TB test are required (at no cost). Must be 18 years or older to apply.
Requirements
- Driver's License
- Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- Orientation and Training
- Flexible to fit your schedule. Minimum 1-2 hrs a week.
- Drug Screening and 2 step TB test
