Fundraising Committee Member Description
The Fundraising Committee plays a vital role in helping Increasing H.O.P.E. Financial Training Center reach its goal of raising $100,000 to expand our programs and impact in the community. Committee members work closely with board members, staff, and volunteers to build awareness, cultivate relationships, and secure the resources needed to sustain and grow our mission.
Responsibilities:
Support Fundraising Efforts: Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to help reach the $100,000 goal.
Serve as an Ambassador: Actively promote Increasing H.O.P.E.’s mission, programs, and fundraising priorities within personal and professional networks.
Cultivate Relationships: Help identify, connect with, and steward potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
Contribute Ideas: Provide creative input on strategies, events, and opportunities that will strengthen fundraising results.
Make a Personal Contribution: Demonstrate leadership by making a personally meaningful financial gift to the campaign.
Leverage Networks: Introduce new supporters, businesses, and community leaders to Increasing H.O.P.E.
Participate in Meetings: Attend regular committee meetings (virtual or in-person) and actively engage in assigned tasks.
Desired Qualities:
Passion for Increasing H.O.P.E.’s mission to empower individuals and families through financial education.
Willingness to use personal influence, expertise, and connections to help secure resources.
Commitment to teamwork, creativity, and achieving shared goals.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 3-5 hours per month, including committee meetings, outreach efforts, and event participation. From September to December 2025 only.
By serving on the Fundraising Committee, members directly contribute to Increasing H.O.P.E.’s ability to transform lives, strengthen families, and build a financially healthy community.
