Music Volunteers wanted for Hospice Patients

Capital Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for caring, volunteers, who play musical instruments and/or sing, for hospice patients who either live at home, or in long term care settings.

Sometimes words can fail us, Music volunteers help patients and families reconnect with their feelings and memories, that can bring about a sense of comfort, and happiness by singing or playing a familiar hymn, song or tune.

When you volunteer with Capital Hospice & Palliative Care we will provide you with personal training , and individual support. We also offer flexablilty, and freedome to choose what location you are most comfortable with, and how much time you would like to give. Whether you choose to volunteer once a week or once a month Capital Hopsice values your time with us.
