CREATE Arts Center, a nonprofit organization in downtown Silver Spring, is recruiting community members to join our Board of Directors!
CREATE approaches art education and mental health support with a deeply rooted belief that every person should have equity in access to the economic, social and educational benefits of the visual arts.
Our Board of Directors is growing to meet the demands of a small but vibrant nonprofit organization. Board candidates should be team-oriented and collaborative. We are especially in need of community members who bring experience in:
- Grant and foundation relations;
- Financial oversight; and
- Professional mental health and/or art therapy.
