At Compassionate Care Hospice, we are passionate about providing the highest quality of care for our patients and their families. It is our belief that end-of-life care is a privilege granted to us. To be allowed into our patients' lives at this most intimate of times is an honor and we are careful to be good stewards with this responsibility.

Quality Volunteers are crucial to our care team. Your compassion makes a difference in the lives of our patients and their caregivers! Your engagement is key for the provision of our holistic approach to hospice care.

As a Volunteer with us, you may engage in numerous ways:

• Visit a patient for companionship
• Provide respite for a caregiver, allowing them to run errands or go to appointments
• Participate in our Bereavement Program by assisting with support groups and mailings
• Licensed professionals can give time as massage therapists, hair stylists and estheticians etc.
• Write a patient’s biography as a meaningful keepsake for the family
• Music therapy soothes agitation and anxiety
• Office assistance is an ongoing need to support our field team members
• Many more opportunities are possible
