AFS Youth Assembly Volunteers

AFS Intercultural Programs is seeking volunteers to support the implementation of the 29th AFS Youth Assembly, which will take place from August 16-18 2024, in New York City.

The AFS Youth Assembly is a conference that brings together the world’s foremost young leaders and changemakers at the heart of global change. With an annual participation of up to 1,000 youth and as many as 100 countries represented, the AFS Youth Assembly is a global network of emerging leaders, social innovators, and advocates for sustainable development.

The following volunteer roles are available:

Conference Sessions & Youth Development Volunteer

As a Conference Sessions & Youth Development Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in the execution of the conference program, ensuring that each session runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impact on participants. This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with conference speakers, assist in logistical arrangements, and contribute to the overall success of the event.

Communications & Social Media Volunteer

As a Communications & Social Media Volunteer, you will play a key role in documenting the event, highlighting key takeaways, and featuring active and talented young delegates. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the digital conversation and showcase the impact of the Youth Assembly.

Registration Volunteer

As a Registration Volunteer, you will be responsible for assisting with delegate check-in, providing information, and guiding attendees throughout the conference venue. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of delegate interactions and contribute to the overall success of the event.

Supplies & Logistics Volunteer

As a Supplies & Logistics Volunteer, you will play a critical role in creating a well-organized conference by helping ensure the smooth management of resources and logistical arrangements. This is an opportunity to contribute to the overall organization and efficiency of the conference.
