Dorothy Day House is a volunteer based non-profit organization that for over 30 years has provided meals, shelter, and employment for low income residents and people who experience homelessness in Berkeley, California.
We provide shelter and meals to the unhoused and could use your help for meal services. DDH follows all Berkeley Public Health guidelines. Masks are required and gloves are provided.
Meals are prepared and served by staff and volunteers.
TWO-HOUR SHIFTS ARE AVAILABLE IN 2 LOCATIONS, 7 DAYS A WEEK, MULTIPLE SHIFTS PER DAY.
