Descrição
The Read NW program is located at 22 different locations within Clark County, WA to include:
- 20 Public schools
- 4 Boys and Girls Clubs
- 1 Open House Ministries

Volunteers must:
- Pass a free background check
- Complete 60-90 minutes of training at the location they've chosen
- Commit to coming once per week for up to 30 minutes
Volunteers are paired 1:1 with a student who needs literacy support. Reading Mentors meet once a week, at the same time, with the same student and with the same volunteer team so that volunteers are never alone with a student.
These small volunteer teams come to the school during school hours for up to 30 minutes, once per week. Books and learning materials are provided.
