Nominating Committee Member - Baypath Board of Directors

Rapidly growing Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton is seeking a professional with recruiting expertise who is looking to give back to our community and help animals in  need.  If you want to use your expertise and experience to support an animal shelter, then  please read through the requirements below.

What you bring to the team:

●  Experience in human resources and recruiting

●  Experience with succession planning

●  Ability to draft satisfaction surveys and manage the process

● Experience with and/or interest in contributing to and learning about a non-profit mission related to animal welfare

Responsibilities:

 ● Establish and evolve the talent inventory required for the Board of Directors and use this vision to guide recruiting and filling of Board positions

●  Recruit, vet, and on-board new Board members and ensure that they are set up for success through mentoring 

●  Lead the process for the nomination and selection of Board leadership positions (including Board officers and Board committee chairs)

● Survey existing Board members to identify opportunities to improve Board education and engagement and promote ongoing learning

●  Collaborate with other HR Specialists on operational issues and larger projects
