Hospice Volunteers support people at the end of life in a variety of meaningful ways.
Common activities include:
- Providing a comforting presence to people with terminal illnesses
- Engaging in life-review and socializing
- Giving family members time to care for themselves
- Socializing with people who have limited support systems
- Running errands or performing small tasks around the home
- Helping in the administrative office
**Hospice volunteers do not perform any medical or caregiving tasks**
