Bi-lingual Mandarin Mental Health Professionals are needed by an all volunteer Emergency Food Program operating on Saturdays only and located on the Lower East Side. Volunteers should be certified in mental health counseling, psychiatry, psychology or psychiatric social work to work with a mentally ill adult female guest who presents with Schizophrenia. Volunteer would be needed for crisis intervention, therapeutic intervention and creation of a treatment plan. Our day is 6.5 hours long with approximately 4 of those hours with direct service to the guest.
