Church Street School for Music and Art’s Board of Directors (Board) supports the work of the school and provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance. While day-to-day operations are led by the school’s Executive Director (ED), the Board-ED relationship is a partnership, and the appropriate involvementof the Board is both critical and expected. Directors are charged to help lead the organization in governance, fundraising, and oversight to ensure that Church Street School for Music and Art continues to meet its mission in serving as many people as possible in arts educational programming in a manner that is fiscally responsible and forward thinking. All board members are expected to actively participate in regular board meetings and discussions, and contribute their knowledge, time, and resources. Board members serve three-year terms and are eligible to be re-appointed for successive, consecutive terms.
