ToshoCon 2025 - Arlington Hills Library

Join us on Saturday, October 4th for ToshoCon 2025, a free anime convention hosted by the Saint Paul Public Library! This one-day event celebrates anime, Asian pop culture, and fandoms of all kinds—from K-pop to cosplay, Dungeons & Dragons to video games—for a celebration of creativity, culture, and community. We are in need of volunteers to help with:

Arts & Crafts Support (2–3 volunteers per shift):

Shifts: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and 1:00–4:00 PM

Assist participants with activity questions, replenish supplies as needed, and help keep the area clean and welcoming.

Photo Support (2–3 volunteers per shift):

Shifts: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and 1:00–4:00 PM

Take picures of people doing cool stuf to capture the all of the fun moments!

Panel/Workshop Assistant (1 volunteer per shift):

Shifts: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and 1:00–4:00 PM

Greet participants and provide light support to panelists or workshop leaders as needed.

Ramen Bar Assistant (3 volunteers per shift):

Shifts: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and 1:00–4:00 PM

Distribute ramen cups in exchange for meal tickets, keep the area tidy, assist kids with making ramen, and replenish hot water as needed.

Zen Den/Totoro’s Lounge Assistant (1 volunteer per shift):

Shifts: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and 1:00–4:00 PM

Monitor the room, ensure a calming atmosphere, help with manga or coloring activities, and direct participants to staff for book-related questions. Make sure a movie is playing and the space feels inviting.
