Program Support Associate - Community Resilience for Disasters & Climate Resilience

Doers is looking for a self-motivated, compassionate and enthusiastic volunteer to support our programs related to community resilience in Himachal Pradesh state of India. The volunteer is expected to contribute to our programmatic intervention in the area of community-based disaster risk management, climate change adaptation, mental health & psychosocial support and needs-based humanitarian response. The volunteer will act as the Program Support Associate at Doers and will work with the core team of the organization for a minimum of 3 to 6 months. While the volunteer will be stationed at our office in Shimla city, he/she is expected to visit different field locations in rural as well as urban parts of Himachal Pradesh where we work with the vulnerable communities to build their capacities on the aforementioned issues. We expect the volunteer to have adequate skills in English language (understanding, writing and speaking) and basic proficiency in Computers.
