Position Title:**Coordinator (Volunteer)**

- *Role Overview**
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to support the nonprofit’s mission. This role ensures that volunteers are effectively engaged, properly supported, and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s programs and services.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract volunteers.
- Promote opportunities through social media, community events, and local networks.
- Conduct orientation and training sessions to prepare volunteers for their responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records (applications, background checks, hours worked).
- Ensure a positive volunteer experience by providing support and recognition.
- Assess volunteer impact and collect feedback to improve engagement.
- Ensure volunteers follow organization policies and safety guidelines.
- Monitor and document volunteer contributions for reporting.
- *Skills & Qualifications:**
✔ Strong communication and leadership skills.
✔ Ability to motivate and engage volunteers.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and volunteer management software.
✔ Passion for the nonprofit’s mission and commitment to community service.
Flexible, 10-15 hours per week.
