The LIVESTRONG Challenge is happening on Sunday, November 2nd in Austin, TX at Auditorium Shores. The Challenge isn’t just about riding, running, or walking — it’s about creating a powerful community experience for cancer survivors, their families, and everyone who believes in our mission. And that’s where volunteers like you come in.

Volunteering for the 2025 Livestrong Challenge isn’t just lending a hand — it’s taking a stand.

Every hour you give powers our mission to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. Your support fuels programs that provide free one-on-one navigation services, fertility preservation guidance, emotional support, financial counseling, and tools for survivorship planning. Whether you’re cheering at the finish line or handing out water to runners, you’re directly contributing to the resources and community that cancer survivors count on.

💛 Volunteer Shifts: Between 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible shifts available).

💛 Roles:

• Registration – Welcome participants, answer questions, and get them set up for their big day.
• VIP Finish Line Club – Help create an elevated experience for top fundraisers and sponsors.
• Merchandise Tent – Assist with sales of LIVESTRONG gear and apparel.
• Raffle & Auction Tent – Engage guests and help raise additional funds.
• Celebration Café & Refreshments – Share food, smiles, and encouragement with participants while serving favorites from our amazing partners Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Rambler Sparkling Water, and Thirsty Planet Brewing Co.
• Family Fun Zone – Bring joy to kids and families through games, crafts, and activities.
• Cheer Zones – Be part of the emotional moment when participants cross the line.
• Shade Tent 1+2 – Welcome participants and offer a relaxing, shaded rest area for riders and runners.
• Tribute Wall – Help attendees honor loved ones impacted by cancer by guiding them in adding messages.
• Jersey Pick-Up – Help riders receive their official jerseys and ensure sizes are distributed correctly.

Whether you’re greeting participants at registration, handing out LIVESTRONG gear, presenting roses to survivors at the finish line, or celebrating finishers with cheers and high-fives, know this: your time is just as valuable as any donation. Every volunteer plays a role in showing cancer patients and survivors that they are not alone.
