    Location: Remote in Houston, TX

    Position Type: Part-Time / Contract

Compensation: Percentage-based pay tied to insurance reimbursement

    About PostBaby Bliss Foundation

PostBaby Bliss Foundation is a startup nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting postpartum families through compassionate mental health care and resources. Our mission is to nurture, inform, and empower families during the critical postpartum period, ensuring no family feels alone on their journey. As a young organization, we are building our impact from the ground up and deeply value passionate professionals who want to contribute to this meaningful cause.

    Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality therapeutic services to postpartum individuals and families. Since PostBaby Bliss Foundation is a startup nonprofit, compensation is based on a percentage of insurance reimbursements collected for services rendered. While this reflects a pay-for-performance model rather than a fixed salary, it offers the opportunity to get paid for your work while supporting a vital community cause. This position is ideal for therapists who want to combine professional practice with charitable impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions focused on postpartum mental health issues such as postpartum depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment challenges.
    • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
    • Maintain detailed, timely, and confidential clinical documentation compliant with legal and insurance standards.
    • Collaborate with the PostBaby Bliss Foundation team to coordinate care and refer clients to additional resources as needed.
    • Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.
    • Manage client caseload efficiently while upholding high standards of care and ethical practice.

    Qualifications

    • Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent) in Texas.
    • Experience working with postpartum populations or maternal mental health preferred.
    • Knowledge of insurance billing, documentation requirements, and reimbursement processes preferred but not required.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Commitment to culturally competent and trauma-informed care.
    • Passion for nonprofit and community-focused work.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Compensation is percentage-based, tied directly to insurance reimbursements collected for therapy sessions.
    • This is a unique opportunity to be part of a startup nonprofit, blending professional therapy practice with meaningful community service.
    • Flexible scheduling to accommodate therapist and client needs.
    • Opportunity to make a significant impact on postpartum family mental health.
    • Supportive and mission-driven work environment.
