On Thursday, November 27, the Sacramento LGBT Community Center is hosting the annual Chosen Family Feast, a community meal and celebration of community in a safe, affirming, and judgment-free space with your chosen family.
The holidays can be tough. Chosen Family Feast is a reminder that at the Center, you are never alone!
Volunteers are needed on Wed 11/26 and Thurs 11/28 to:
- help create a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere
- Help guests find bathrooms, where to sit, the dessert buffet, etc.
- Find out from each guest which meal option they want and ensure they get it.
- Plating/boxing food
- Tear down/clean up
