Creative Comfort Volunteers - Cards & Crafts for Hospice Patients

Bring comfort and joy to hospice patients and their families through your creativity! Suncrest Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to craft personalized cards and soothing fidget blankets. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a beginner, your handmade creations can provide emotional support and tactile stimulation to those in our care.

• • Card Volunteers: Create heartfelt birthday, anniversary, sympathy, or holiday cards. Design your own or add a personal touch to pre-made cards - all styles are welcome!
  • Craft Volunteers: Use your knitting, sewing, or crochet skills to make fidget blankets (approx. 18x18") with engaging attachments like buttons, ribbons, and textured fabrics. These blankets provide a source of comfort and stimulation for memory care patients.

This is a flexible, at-home volunteer opportunity with local pickup/shipping options (depending on location). All volunteers must complete Suncrest Hospice's onboarding process, including a background check and TB test (provided by Suncrest).
