Descrição
Support our veterans by providing companionship and friendship through regular visits. Our volunteers offer their time and being present for the patient, reading, talking, playing music, or assisting with non-medical tasks. Our volunteers also share their experiences and stories, hold a hand, provide support by listening, or offer words of comfort. Veterans have a special bond with each other and we want to introduce veteran patients to volunteer veterans who are hospice-trained.
This is a flexible schedule and can be as many hours as you are able/willing to volunteer.
