Volunteer at a San Francisco Public School

Every student needs someone who believes in them, who acts as a cheerleader and says, “You can do this!”. Here in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), volunteers are needed in just about every subject. Spend one hour, once a week, sharing your skills with a public school student.

Spend one hour, once a week, sharing your skills with a  public school  student. 

Read with an elementary school student or practice math with a middle schooler, encourage the arts or emphasize STEM--anything!

San Francisco public school students are still recovering from the pandemic, even though all of last year was in-class instruction. Teachers need people who can help inspire and empower students. Volunteer with an SFUSD school for the current school year and help students resume their path to academic success!
