Food Access In Westlake

Help run the Westlake farm box pickup point with City Fresh! If you love fresh, local veggies, meeting like-minded people, and if you are passionate about increasing access to fresh food in your community, this opportunity is for you.

This is a weekly produce distribution for City Fresh on Thursday afternoons during the summer and fall harvest season. Set up begins at 3 PM, where you will help unload the truck, carry crates of veggies, and set up ahead of the distribution, which is 4-5:30 PM. During distribution you will help check people in, assist with their order, and talk all-things-seasonal eating. 

After onboarding, volunteers may sign up for one hour shifts. You are not required to come every week, but we hope you can join us for most Thursdays of the season!
