The New Haven/León Sister City Project supports sustainable development, education and social justice in Nicaragua and Connecticut.
We invite you to consider volunteering if you're interested in:
- working to build a more just world.
- learning about international development/ solidarity.
- grassroots fundraising and nonprofit management.
- community based education.
- environmental, sustainable development and public health issues.
Particular areas of need include:
Climate Change Campaign in Connecticut - Organizing and project/policy development on climate change and sustainable development in New Haven.
Helpful skills: Good communication; organized, creative; self starter.
