We've all heard the age-old wisdom "it takes a village to raise a child." But what does it take to foster one?
Elysium Sanctuary is an Oregon-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating a "village" just for foster youth. We do this through building a community, expanding support, and enriching the lives of foster youth and their families. We believe in a world where all youth receive the guardianship, support, and life skills they need to thrive. You can learn more about us at elysium-sanctuary.org.
Despite our small size, we have built a solid foundation on which to expand our community and the services we provide to foster families. With this in mind, we are in search of an additional board member to support our initiatives. Responsibilities of this voluntary position include supporting Elysium Sanctuary's mission, vision, and values and assisting in fundraising activities.
