Whether working with the physically disabled, the mentally challenged, or those with learning difficulties and impairments to sight or hearing and Sign language. You may also choose to volunteer with them in their Handicraft Centre by teaching sewing, shoe making, waving, needle work etc.Coming up with a new trade or ideas will be highly welcome. We have projects that will not only suit your interests, but will provide you with an opportunity to make a real and lasting contribution. Join us on one of our safe, fun and affordable Special Needs Care Projects now and be part of something great!

Volunteers on any of our projects are accommodated and feed for free in one of our friendly volunteer home, or within one of our comfortable guest houses. In both cases volunteers will be provided with 3 home meals per day and get to immerse themselves in local culture and cuisine. Airport pick-up and a full orientation upon arrival are included, and Wifi, swimming pool, gym and laundry services are also available at most program locations.

As with all of our voluntary service programs, you will have the opportunity to meet and socialize with fellow volunteers from all over the world. Not only will you make a real contribution to your chosen project, but you will get to travel and explore a new country, as well as make new friends for life! The hospitality of the people will encourage you to extend you stay.

OUR ACCOMMODATION , MEALS AND AMENITIES

Volunteers are accommodated in four difference volunteer homes in rural and Urban areas.Volunteers choose to share or not to share a room with others. 4G internet services avialable.we recommend volunteers to bring their own towel and toiletries. The accommodation is safe and secure with the houses located in a safe area in town near the community where volunteers work. Living is comfortable and the volunteer houses have electricity and running water with Western toilets.

our volunteers receive three meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and meals served in the volunteer house are typically Western-style. Breakfast consists of self-serve tea, coffee, toast and cereal. At breakfast time, volunteers are also provided with food for making a sandwich as a packed lunch for their project, this is particularly important for Teaching volunteers to note, as your day usually ends after lunch. Dinner consists of dishes containing meat, vegetables and a starch, such as potatoes, bread or pasta. Bottled water is readily available in Cameroon and you should budget approximately US$2 per week , however tap water is fine to drink in the volunteer houses and most other areas. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know as we program and make arrangements for you. However, we need to stress the point that you should expect to eat more as you normally do at home. We will do our best to see that you are well taken care of, but also as a volunteer.
