About us

Beginning in 1982, Crisis Center North (CCN) was incorporated to serve victims of domestic violence in the northern communities of Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, PA.

Today, CCN is a non-profit counseling and educational resource center which serves victims of domestic violence, their children, and teens involved in violent

dating relationships. CCN's mission is to empower victims of domestic violence and cultivate community attitudes and behaviors that break the cycle of violence.

CCN is a program member of the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence since 1984. The Coalition is a statewide organization of 61 programs, which

ensure that member organizations maintain the highest standards and provide quality services to victims of domestic violence across the Commonwealth.
