About us

Deborah's Place breaks the cycle of homelessness for women in Chicago. Through a continuum of housing options, comprehensive support services and opportunities for change provided by dedicated volunteers and staff, women succeed in achieving their goals of stable housing, sustainable income and greater self-determination.

Deborah's Place provides a range of services and living options for women who are homeless, including: Dolores' Safe Haven; Teresa's Interim Housing Program; Marah's Permanent Housing Program; the Patty Crowley and Rebecca Johnson Apartments; and the Learning Centers. Any women who is a participant at Deborah's Place can take advantage of Education Services, Employment Services, Case Management, Therapuetic Services, and Health Services.
