About us

Ngombe Conservation Project is a project set up under the guidance of the Peace Parks Foundation. The target area is a 200 000 ha conservancy in a big 5 safari area, bordering the Zambezi River. The aim is to rehabilitate the entire area from a conservation point of view. The project thus has different arms, wildlife, education, ecology etc.
Our first initiative is the education of the locals in the area, and through the use of the Play 2 Learn programme and the help of volunteers this will be achieved. The education process is vital in creating an environment where the local people understand and support the ongoing conservation initiative being implimented.
