The National Museum of Animals & Society was established in January 2010 as the first museum exclusively dedicated to enriching the lives of all animals - human and nonhuman - by exploring our shared experience.™ To this end, NMAS promotes respect for life and compassionate ethics in advancing healthy, meaningful interconnections with the animal world.
