Description

Family Support Services of the Bay Area (FSSBA) is a private, non-profit organization that provides support to parents and other caregivers of vulnerable children. The OreMi Mentoring Program is a preventative and strength-based mentoring program for children, ages 4-18 who are foster youth or have a parent in the state or federal prison system. The OreMi Mentoring Program matches youth one-on-one with a mentor, and they meet at least 4 hours per month for one year.

OreMi means "my friend, mentor, someone in whom I can confide" in Yoruba
