Last modified: December 6, 2010, 5:13 AM

Our mission is to build leadership capacity within communities by providing students, educators, and community leaders with opportunities to develop a better understanding of their capabilities and value to their community. We carry out our mission through challenging experiences carefully structured to enhance leadership self-esteem, self reliance, concern for others, service to the community and care for the environment. We mainly work with middle school and high school students from the Baltimore area. Our course areas are the Appalachian Trail, the Potomac River and the city of Baltimore in which we take the participants out for 5 day expeditions.
