Centre for Nature Conservation and Sustainable Development is a grass root environmental organization campaigning on most environmental issues. It was founded in 2011 by people from different walks of life who are interested in environmental issues. For the past three years it has been existing a voluntary group where members come together to carry out activities that are beneficial to the community. Following an enlarged meeting held by its members in October 2013, it was decided that the group should be registered as a non profit, non religious and non sectoral organization operating under the laws governing the creation of such associations.
Motto: The motto of the association is "Together for a Greener Planet"
The Objectives of the association were adopted by the members as follows:
-To fight against global warming and climate change; -To conserve and restore biodiversity -To foster sustainable environmental and agricultural practices -To carry out activities aimed at educating communities on the effects of their actions on the environment; -To try and mitigate the effects of human actions on the planet by carrying out activities that would maintain the natural ecosystem.
MISSION The mission of Centre for Nature Conservation and Sustainable Development is to carry out activities aimed at attaining environmental sustainability and preservation of natural ecosystems.
VISION The vision of Centre for Nature Conservation and Sustainable Development is a world where everyone is environmentally conscious, protects and celebrates the natural world for the benefit of the present and future generations.
