Friends of MJHS is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the primary purpose of generating contributions, pledges, funds and resources for the development, construction and ongoing support of Mission Junior High School (MJHS), a Christian junior high school serving students in grades 5-8; a public charter school serving students in grades 9-12 and a community based program that will provide an array of services during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
Although the organization itself is not a faith-based agency, it partners with the Mission Christian Center Church for the development of the junior high school. Friends of MJHS is also a solid partner with Sigma Theta Rho Fraternity, whose members assist with fundraising and program development for the young people.
